Hmmm....must have missed the sarcasm...and the italics indicating sarcasm.  :spiderman:

Hey Mark...can you tone down the sarcasm?  There is so much of it that it has completely thrown me off and I think you are 100% serious about everything now.  PDT_Armataz_01_12

Still would not part with mine no matter how high this one goes, and I think this maybe the 3rd one I've seen in the past couple years.

I guess it has been a while since once was up but it usually doesn't sell for much but we may have just given it the Acaeum hype factor.

That's the first one I have seen on Ebay.

Given that it is a Group One product, it should net a good price.

As a gaming item, it is dog vomit...it wouldn't be unfair to call it "retarded," but that would be unfair to retarded people.  But then a lot of the classic treasures were not very good gaming items.

Ironhoof Highlands is 1-5 "Demand Your Money Back" on my 30 point rating scale.  (Which is not so much a rating of collectibility as of usefulness.)

If you haven't seen it...the cover is the best part of the module.  Seriously.  Possibly...the cover might be rivaled by a piece of interior art that shows an ancient monolith with Space Invaders carved on it.

Still...highly collectible.   8O

PS...how do you spell "collectible?"

LOL. It is always entertaining to read Mark's comments on an Ironhoof, because he's pretty spot on......

I still have a few floating around someplace....and I've sold at least one or two on ebay (don't remember what I got for them, if it was able to be folded and placed in a wallet, it was too much....!)

But yes, it is collectible!

I wouldn't be surprised if there were BOXES of these things sitting in long-lost storage units in Decatur and other areas of the Midwest. Maybe even still in some basements and garages...

From what Bob tells me about some of the storage places he had dealt with, it can take years for them to dispose of and sell stuff from defaulted renters. Some places auction it off a whole storage unit at a time, others will sit on stuff if they have the space until they need to get the space, then sell it off to whomever they can find. Apparently, the place Bob used to store a ton of JG stuff at kept it all intact for years after Bob dropped off the face of the earth before they sold it off... though I've never been able to get that complete story.

Some day, when I get a wad of cash, I'm going to hunt down every storage facility (public and business) in Decatur and try to find old Judges Guild stuff. Might do that around Lake Geneva, too, just to see what I can turn up from TSR...

Who bought my Hidden Kingdom last year?  I lost all my recent emails/sales listings, so I don't have a record. It was in beautful condition, IIRC, and it went for a nice price....

I wondered this before & looked it up...

"collectible" and "collectable" are *both* correct.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collectible

Spelling note

Although "collectable" is the spelling listed first by the Oxford English Dictionary, the dictionary observes that the "-ible" form is also valid, and has come to be common usage in the United States.

Big lot of MERP stuff:

Odd lot of I.C.E. stuff from the same seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1st-Edition-I-C-E-I ... dZViewItem

Apparently these items are from the estate of I.C.E. founder Pete Fenlon.  Four 1st prints of The Iron Wind with one being a misprint.  Unique item maybe?  8O

Wow. That is an amazing lot. If would bid vigorously if I could afford it. I hope someone here wins this lot. One could make a good start on an ICE sub-web with this lot.

If "mullered" means "used in actual gaming" then yes.

These books are not ragged...the are veterans.

Ironic that the best collectibles would logically come from people with only passing interest in gaming.

Cthulhu 'red-star' limited ed. rulebook.

Good buy-it-now price, but his feedback is what stopped me from buying it. Anyone braver?
