The notation says that this is not complete, but it seems like someone here should want it.

Heh, I like
a) 16 new Wizard carts (8 human + 8 beast)

b) 20 new secret cards --

c) 24 new tracking sheets

d) 40 wild magic cards and labels --

e) Rules

as missing. Or, most everything. I love auctions that have 95% of the components not there. Never heard of it before, so, thanks for the heads-up. I'll just have to think about looking for one a little more... definitive?

Hello All,

In this JG auction lot, there is an item titled "The Black Tower" by O____ (can't make it out) Press. Does anyone know about this item? Is it an adventure (I'm guessing) and who is it by, what is it about, and how much is it worth?

Just curious  ,

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

it was published by midkemia press. all their stuff was very good. low magic town descriptions (carse, towns of the outlands). it was the rpg world of raymond feist (sp ? ) who went on to write some fantasy novels. i would guess black tower is probably worth 10-15 dollars.

I would probably put it at about $20-$25.  The pdf is freely available from the Midkemia Press website:

Midkemia as a lot of price volatility:  in general I agree, Mars, that the prices have fallen, but they still sometime bid as high as $50/book.

Hi Mars,

Thanks for the link. It's always great to be able to "sample" something first instead of having to buy something blind 8)

I also would like to thank Allan, stratochamp, and Rakeesh sah Tarna for helping me out as well. You guys are really helpful and it's appreciated.

Thanks Again,

Time for a little more shameless self-promotion.  Here is another lot for the Ysgarth RPG collectors:

You know there is a classifieds forum for this, right?

Hello All,

I missed out on this Arduin Adventure boxed set, but I really had no idea  :? how much something like this is "worth". Does anybody have some insight they can share, as I truly enjoy the old Arduin stuff and would have loved to see what this was/is like. What really sucked was that my bid showed as the high bid until the last 3 seconds  , so I hope that Wayne enjoys this, as I would hate to see it listed in his store with a BIN of $50+

waynes_world_of_books seems to be doing that a lot lately; I know that several items I had bid on and was winning ended with him placing the winning bid within roughly 1-5 seconds of the auction ending.

I can't help but wonder what his max bids are.
