That's quite a list!  I wish I had the wherewithall to bid on the Miskatonic University Graduates's kit.  Cool beans!  I was just telling some friends about that old kit just the other day.

One of the great things about those old Avalon Hill games....they were great history lessons.

Heh.  I used the Vanishing Conjurer module (the other module included in the Statue of the Sorcerer book that he's listed) as a first adventure for some friends I ran CoC for.  Seem to recall that it contributed to their characters getting kicked out of England.  Ahhhh, memories... :D

SPI War of the Ring (white box movie version):

This one is a bit different though.  The Eye, Ring, and Palantir symbols on the left side of the box top...mine doesnt have those.  Cant find a picture of it on www.boardgamegeek.com or other sites either.

It might be an Australian printing, possibly by Jedko which seemed to do the TSR stuff over there.

I just put up Dungeon Accessory Pack II.  I haven't seen one of these in quite awhile.  Not sure how rare it is.

Maybe it's not 100% kosher to toot your own trumpet, but I have a Call of Cthulhu 20th anniversary Miscatonic University Library edition ot the 'bay right now:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1

One of 300 signed and numbered, still in original wrapping. This is most likely number 185 or 187; since my opened copy is number 186.

The Unspeakable Oath 1 - 6

WARNING:

There were 10 bids higher than mine.

Yet I just got a "Second Chance" offer, both via eBay and directly by an alleged seller.

(Photocopies, anyone?)

Stinks to high heaven... :/

I thought that it went fairly low.  Issue no. 2 can get close to that figure by itself.  I assumed that the low(ish) price was because they didn't look in very good condition from the pic.

How do you know that there were 10 bids higher than yours?  I wonder could the seller have interfered with the ebay auction somehow?

Assuming he's using the same eBay username as here, the bidder's list shows him as the 3rd lowest of 13 bidders.

My apologies - I was assuming that Frank was referring to a high bid of his (which did not show up) not his low bid of $53 and further, that there had been higher bids that had (somehow) been cancelled.

The overall price still seems low(ish), but again, as I mentioned, the condition looks VG(ish).  :flower:

I had been debating going as high as $150-$160 and then selling off the ones I already had (4,5 and 6) but something was telling me to not to go higher.
After hearing about the 2nd chance offer to Frank I am now very glad that I stopped where I did.

If you had asked me to estimate the final price a few days ago, I would have said about that...  maybe up to $180-90  :pig:
