Well, I was gonna make a run at this, but I'm not willing to pay that much.  Still, not too bad at present:

Somehow I had a feeling that was going to happen once advertised. :(

(Just as well I stuck an extra £20 on the snipe at the end... doesn't feel quite so bad that way :)).

:(

Apologies (though it went for too much, IMO).

No probs, Stephen. I agree...

Had picked up the 2nd edition ruleset some time back and must admit that it looked rather interesting: not just in its own right but in the historical context.

Nice copy of Dave Millward's "Heroes" system (1979); somewhat slipped under the net.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0076738859

Opening $15 with 2 1/2 hours to go

(One copy went for silly $ previously, but opening bid or a bit over would be fairly reasonable, IMO).

I have been watching it for awhile and was wondering why no one had even bid on it (up until a little while ago).

I already have a copy so was only mildly interested but it slipped by me as well (became busy tonight). I was thinking maybe I should pick it up.

It went for a reasonable price, IMO.

Why early bid when you can snipe in the last 10 seconds?  :D

I'm not exactly sure how many sets they made for GW but this one is the only one I've seen and fairly unusual:

Seller has an extremely nice Merp box set with only a $25 BIN.:

I would have snagged it myself, but one is enough for me.

Same seller has pretty nice 3rd edition Gamma World set up too, also with a $25 BIN:

I knew there had to be someone here who would be interested in them.

Sorry Al,  I was watching these for the last 5 days too as they taunted me sitting at 9.99 pounds.
