i am pretty sure i will be able to sort it. not 100% sure yet, but almost.

i have the mongol rally next year. i "think" its held around september/october, so that time is no good for me either way. before then would be cool.

Oh....and there is the War Cry & Battle Lust as well. Can't say if I would be comfortable with buying anything from this seller though. Horrific feedback rating.

Cool - I've never actually played Talisman - is it worthwhile?

I've been thinking of investing in something like Talisman or Dungeonquest to try with my kids.

As for the price in this auction - is it high? Can't help but think that if you got them in dribs and drabs they'd probably be cheaper. (But as Dragons goes for easily $200+ and doesn't come up very often this is probably the way to go)

(And what about the GW mini for this? How many were there - I might even be dreaming their existence but I'm sure that I remember a series of alternate frog(or toad) minis for this

)

Talisman is a very good game, me, my wife and oldest son play it quite often. Simple to learn and fun. With all the expansions though it takes a long time to play. The 3rd edition is probably the best (it is the 2nd edition that you pointed out) but all the editions are pretty good. By the way they are on 4th edition right now (curently out of print) and Fantasy Flight is working on a fifth edition.
