We will. I know I owe you a few cards (Christmas at least) and pictures.

I ended up buying this for a 99 cent bid.  And 10x that in shipping!

That's a great game. Don't think many people remember Bushido anymore.

I do! I was absolutely fascinated by it when it was first released and it lead me into researching Japanese culture and history. If that book is the complete rule set rather than just one part from the box set I must admit I didn't know such a thing existed. Thought it was limited to the early 2 book set, which I have, followed up by the box set, which I don't have anymore but want again for nostalgia purposes more than anything. Bombadil, let us know won't you? Good win!

That's me!

Hey, I mentioned this in another post, but any memebrs here who are outside the US who'd like to bid should let me know so I can put them on an exemption list. Otherwise I have it set up to block international bidders.

That's because I only make the exception for members here or friends of friends. I've never done much international shipping and in the last couple of years my diabetes has damaged the nerves in my feet and legs. The trips to the post office and standing in line are grueling.

Jason, is this item the one with the separate wrap around cover and cream coloured book inside?  I ask because I have such an item without the price in the white circle whereas your picture has a price there.  For reference, here's a link:

That's the one I have up. Paper wrap around and cream colored inside cover. The wrap around is frayed and there is a tear at the top of the spine (should be descirbed in my listing).

Thanks, I just wanted to check if it was a different printing because of the variation of price marked on one but not the other.

Jason, if you ship internationally, to make it easier on yourself just let everyone know there is two methods:  Flat rate envelope ($12) or Flat Rate Box ($40).  If it doesn't fit inside the envelope, it's going in the box. No muss no fuss.  That should cover 99.9% of your overseas stuff.  The only time consuming item is filling out the customs form, and if you print it out online (which I do) you just check a few boxes and it's done (the printer prints out the customs form as a part of the shipping label).  You do still have to wait in line (or go to the dutch door if you post office has  a pickup/drop off exclusive window) but you just hand the items to the mail person since the postage is already printed and affixed to the package.  Best decision I made a year ago was printing out my own postage at home!

Thanks I'll definitely try that out.

I don't plan to ship internationally to people I don't know and who don't know me, but if someone has a recommendation or is a reular here then I don't expect the same problems and I'm willing to make an effort for the shipping. But I do want to streamline it as much as possible.

i posted a msg about this on another thread. seems a shame to operate like this. i dont buy that often of late, so only spot things last minute sometimes and then find there isnt enough time to msg you and then bid. you have had quite a few things up that i wanted to bid on.

US only does my head in anyway

Are we nearly there yet?
