Allan, keep those descriptions in mind....and look at what they just sold for (thanks to Mars for compiling this on another thread):

Escape from Shadowland $112.50
Journey to the Center of the Circle $34
Chivalry Lives $42.51
Lake of Parity $41.51
The Burgundy Pit $104
Melanda $56.50

Insanity. We just saved you enough money to buy some worthwhile goodies....

It is mind boggling.  Interesting too that a number of bidders who typically aren't the nonTSR high bidders are there to push the price up.

I should really track the selling price of these for my own curiosity.  The Noble Knight Zayene packages are another one that I would be curious to know the selling history of.  I'm sure NK has sold over a hundred sets and the auctions still tend to be in the $40-$60 range - which more or less puts them at cover price.

I have never seen either of these before.  I knew there were different colored versions of Scouts and Assassins but I have never seen one with that cover art.

Edit:  Yes I have seen that cover....just forgot about it.

It's an extremely rare fanzine.  I sold him a copy of the same issue a while ago, but not in such nice condition.  They don't come up very often, in fact that's only the second one I've seen.  Really interesting reading material.
