Didn't Stratochamp win one at Gencon auction last year.....maybe he might have read it through by now.  Wasn't there a review of it in Dragon magazine also?

i did win one at gencon. it was fairly generic and didn`t really impress me. nonetheless it was nice win for brette. if i had seen the auction i would have bid (my copy didn`t come with the module). this was only the third or fourth copy i`ve seen.

I think I auctioned my copy of this last year along with the adventure.  It's nothing special but I think it's the only RPG based on the Salem witch hunts.  It's a breezy read that has some has nice atmosphere.  Might be fun to play for a change of pace a few times with some over-the-top role-playing.

Thanks for the info guys.  I read Sandy Petersen's review of Witch Hunt in DW 35, and it sounded like it wasn't a terribly great rpg, but had some interesting potential (one half of the PCs run witches, the other half the magistrates, etc.).  In any event, way too expensive for my random level of interest :D

edit:  Brette or someone else with the module, do please post your impressions of that, too.  I'm thinking of adapting this to a CoC game, of course ;)

I see they also have a Vintage Norton Pike Oil can, a good chance to get two rare items and combine shipping. :joker:

I see thefantasymuseum is on the case. Does anyone know that bidder? They must have a great collection now. Do they in fact have a 'fantasy museum.'?

He used to be a member of this forum as TFM and was a valuation board member.  He contributed a portion of the scans of the rarer items for the website.  I wont go into details but he doesnt post here anymore.  He posts over on http://www.tomeoftreasures.com.

Ooo, if I hadn't gotten two different Arduin first prints (I think one is, in fact, a second print of the first cover) I'd be trying to get those! Must wait for payday, though, damnit. Stupid Shadowrun eating up all my money.

Somebody called "Standard Games"...I sold a set not too long ago, but unfortunately it was shrinked so I never got to open it and check it out.

The 2 sets that Standard Games done like this are really common and usually sells for cheap price. I think Standard Games published these sets for use especially with DragonRoar since plans are similar than those in the game.
