Funny JG....! Yeh, unless you are a die hard collector of non TSR tournament stuff, pass these by.  They are pretty bad....you could make a better adventure on your desktop given an hour and a two beer head start...

And as DL has said, they are apparantly very difficult to deal with. Good Luck,

It looks like the seller has quite a few cleric spell books as well.

I wish this game had nicer parts like miniature figues or something.

Seller Dragonlordk has some interesting items up, though his shipping seems to be a tad on the steep side.

No loyalty to the old Dr. Who actors here.

I never saw the old episodes, but the last two Dr. Who actors have been fantastic.

Those not watching the series are missing out.  Check out Torchwood as well...sort of a British, Who-Influenced X Files.  The show is part of the Dr. Who storyline.

Baker and Pertwee were my favourites too. After that it went downhill - however, the recent reignition is up there with Pertwee and Baker and must certainly be creating a new generation of fans. Maybe we should start a Doctor Who thread - Any have the FASA Dr. Who RPG?

What are you all talking about? McCoy was the best Doctor Who, by a short neck from Davidson and Cushing with the rest nowhere in sight. Tom Baker wasn't tall enough for the role and Pertwee was too conservative. INCOMING!!!

The BBC being so careless with some of the early material, losing it, throwing it away, pops up and bothers me from time to time. It's a recurring regret on their behalf. I've always wanted to see some of the missing Troughton episodes (Snowman, Web of Fear particularly) but that will never be possible - you had to be there at the time, way back then (anyone?). Unheard of in the modern world what with digital this and that and show on demand. T'was better in the old days, less special effects (no money) more story, and unique not just another formula clone, the viewer having to contribute by adding some imagination. Now it's on a plate. Can anyone think of a single decent episode from the new batch? It all ended for me when the Daleks mastered stairs - preposterous! Everyone knows stairs is the only defence against the Daleks! Stop screwing with our fundamental truths BBC and find the missing episodes pronto. Wonder how much they'd go for on ebay?

i actually quite liked Patrick Troughton as well. i was very lucky in years gone by to have watched most of the episodes he was in - but you would be damn lucky to see them now. he was actually quite a cool doctor - quite eccentric too.

jon pertwee i just liked because of how he interacted. i always liked that posh talking demeanour he had and the car was ace!

tom baker was just so cool. no other way of putting it. and of course then there were the assistants.

sarah-jane smith was a regular hottie when i was a kid and was with both pertwee and baker. then you have leelea...nice :D

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Doctor is a good page to go look if youre interested.

Al

ps *edit* some Dr Who e-books from the BBC website if youre interested?
