Just wanted to say that I just purchased some modules tonight that I have been looking for from Noble Knight webpage at very fair prices. I first heard about this source from here at acaeum and am in no way related to that seller. Hopefully everything will turn out well. Just wondering if anybody has some suggestions for other honest creditable online places to browse other then ebay. There was an hour special on ebay tonight on Cbs Tv, did anyone see it, they were fairly critical of ebay .

Great, the last time a TV show ran one of their dumb arse "specials" about the "Dangers of EBAY!!!" I had like all my newbie buyers afterwards say they wouldn't bid on my items unless I used a holding service to "make sure they got what they paid for", like my 99.9 percent positive feedback and overwhelmingly nice comments meant nothing.  I later found out that week's "special report" had something along the lines that you should NEVER buy ANYTHING on Ebay unless there is a holding company that will hold the buyer's money until the buyer gets the item and makes sure it's what he wants, THEN the seller gets paid, because all Sellers are out there just trying to rip off the Buyers. I was actually very polite and let all of the questioners know that I didn't do business that way and the usual procedure was for them to send me payment, I would send the item, and if they had a problem they could use one of many methods to seek recourse through Ebay or paypal, but if they checked out my many years of positive transactions I'm sure they shouldn't be worried. I actually had a few reply to the effect of "Aha!!! The Special Report WARNED me about Sellers like you!!!! When you won't accept a holding company you are trying to RIP ME OFF!!!! I would NEVER buy anything from such a dishonest Seller!!!" I kid you not, that actually happened.  God, I hate when the baboon ass shithead media types get it in their pea sized brains to run those "special reports" about something they know nothing about...

However, if the show was about how Ebay is ripping off their buyers and sellers with higher fees, well, hell yeh I'm behind that 100%.  :D

Yea they covered alot of issues, I think it was a rerun, I vaguely remember seeing the same show a year or so back. They talked about all the angry ex sellers because of fees, all the angry ex buyers because of getting ripped off and how ebay is basically a greedy arrogant business thats trying to take over the world by expanding into china, germany and everywhere and how theres no customer service and how meg whitmann is an incompetant ignorant slut. ( well i made that last one up partially) Actually the Ebay commercials that are about do now during the holiday season make me cringe more, all those newbies wanting to join ebay and get that perfect christmas gift and have no clue of the procedures of how ebay works.

AC. everyone knows noble knight chummer and how cool they are to do biz with. always nice to see an extra one happy with things too.

the media issue is just a typical example of how the media just wade in there and paint a false image that all the sheep of the world follow, without actually thinking about it.

just shows what kind of a society we live in.

i dont think i have EVER heard of anyone using a holding company for funds. if you had to do that, what does ebay and paypal have all the rules for?

bloody muppets
