I picked this module up recently, and know NOTHING about it.

Title: Escape from the Minotaur's Lair
Author: Laurence D Swanson, esq.
Company: IDD - International Dungeon Designs
Year: 1981

Anyone know anything else about it or IDD?  Any idea if it's worth anything?

Thanks!

This company put out 2 modules.  The second one is Bane of Bryreville.

The value really depends on if you can find two people to bid against each other on it.  I think Ian and I pushed one up to $80 something but then a month later I picked up one for $36.  Then, Frank, Lance and Ian had another shootout and pushed it up to $124.50.

Finding them is pretty tough.  Most do not show up very often on Ebay - maybe a couple a year, maybe none.  Every so often you get lucky and find someone who is selling their collection that has been gathering dust and they show up.

I have found a few items through people I have met at the local cons but most do not have these kinds of small press items.  Other stuff I have purchased from old stock in stores throughout Canada and various onlines stores around the world.  But having picked clean most of these now, I am left with Ebay.

yeah i remember the last one of them being sold. i stuck a hopeful bid on to start but was soon swamped by the much bigger guns.

looks like a really cool item imo.

Howdy All,

Thanks!

I kept checking the Interesting Items thread praying for a miss. Yay for oversights!

I already had a Bane of Bryeville from years ago and love it. Just never pursued the Lair until I missed the one earlier this year. I had been kicking myself for not taking that $49.99 BIN on the one that sold several months ago from a member here. It went to auction's end and went for a bunch!

Of course, I have no idea what sort of condition this one is in, probably doesn't have a cover.

I know there were a few of us here that were watching it, myself included.  The payment terms seemed like a bit too much hassle for me so I stayed away.  I have a nice copy so I would have ended up reselling it anyway but it is a nice win for what they have been selling for over the past couple of years.
