Yes, another nice moment for Italian game design and publishing. War of the Ring was one of the best and more beautiful (not to mention the extremely luxurious components!) games I have ever seen. I hope to have some little part in the Age of Conan game (maybe a little playtesting...).

There is going to be a REH event at GenCon next year, bunch of stuff I believe - this year they were only talking some about it and hading out swag like inflatible Conan sword and comics.

It's Nexus. Their partner in the U.S. (and UK, too, I think) is Fantasy Flight Games out in Minnesota.

Nexus has done a great job in grabbing up some interesting licenses — the Lord of the Rings / Marvel Comics / Conan trifecta is almost impossible to beat (and the Marvel game is due next month, BTW).

Man, there's nothing like a big-ass boardgame that takes two people to lift ... :)

Why don't you contact Nexus Editrice? I suppose they could be interested in more playtesters, especially American ones.

You know, maybe I will ... not a bad idea at all.

I was actually a playtester for a very short time on the new Conan CCG. I received my playtest materials and then all hell broke loose on the home front (new job situation, suddenly pregnant wife, other fun stuff). I had to drop out, sadly.
