Get out there and buy the latest version of Tekumel / Empire of the Petal Throne real soon, the one published by Guardians of Order (Canadian).

They just folded:

I did that about a few weeks ago for close to the same reason. Mark wasn't posting anything to his forums or news section since February 14th well until a couple of days ago. Forums are now dead - though others I believe have ported over the messages to another forum.

Actually glad I got the Tri Stat rules printed book to at a GenCon for $1 as well.

I can't seem to load their webpage anymore either. But if anyone knows how to get a hold of Mark MacKinnon, I would be interested in the contact info too. Guardians of Order was in Guelph which is just next door to me.

I found that address too but it is just a post office box so there wouldn't be anyone related to GoO there unless I stake it out.

Well Mark is working as a real estate sales representative in Guelph, so must be some way of getting in contact with him.

Is that him? I did a search of the whitepages and there were 2 M MacKinnon's and I found the real estate one as well.

Yeah, it is what George R.R. Martin has said as well when he contacted him and someone posted it on the forums that Mark was in real estate now.
