I just picked up a second copy of Legacy by David A. Feldt

This one came with a transparency on page 142ish and 8 extra card sheets (4 green and 4 yellow) that are not attached to the book.  They look like they are meant to be cut out into cards.  Some are monster cards and equipment cards: stats on one side, picture on the other.  The drawings on the cards are signed the same as the cover artist so they should belong with the book.  My first copy didn't have either of these and I don't recall any mention of these in other auctions I have seen for it.



Does anyone know how what a complete copy is suppose to come with?

Hum, mine doesn't have this, and I see no mention of this in the introduction about these cards/overlay. Could you provide a pic/scan of a card?

Side note: I had contacted the Sister of David A. Feldt back when I got my copy (the family had put out a book of poetry and that was how I was able to write her) She forwarded the email to him, but he never got back to me (this was years ago IIRC)

Sure I will put one up tomorrow.  

I would be interested to know if other copies have the transparency sheet on page 142 as well.  The transparency sheet is "bound" into the book so it might not have gotten lost as easily.

Mine came in a red plastic 3 ring binder, so doesn't have that metal strap binding it. What is the overlay of (hex/square grid or something else?)

Well..Heroic Worlds states 160-pg book, 48 cardstock cards, transparent overlay.

Ah good spot!  If I were to cut up the sheets I would end up with 48 cards.

Photos of the transparency and cards would be cool.
Nice win BTW. I've seen those sell for maybe 10 times that.

Here are some links to fairly high resolution scan of one of the cards.  If you zoom in on the signature on the pictures, you'll see it matches the one on the cover.
