It always makes me laugh the things Sellers list under roleplaying games. Alongside your dice and miniatures and D&D modules you have

A unicorn hobby horse

Quick hurry, only three hours left. Can't you just picture yourself riding this around the living room after taking flight and narrowly escaping some marauding trolls!

Player "How?"

http://toys.search.ebay.com/_Role-Playi ... sZevankest

Item descriptions stated as simply "mint" or "near mint" and the stockiest stock pictures that I've seen in a long time.  Hell, Before the Fall still has the Amazon.com "search inside" overlay on it.

(Actually, given the 230x230 dimensions on most of the pictures, I'd say the majority of them were swiped from Amazon.)

That obviously because he is also using Amazon as his guide to pricing as well....

What a hoot!

That has to be one of the most wonderfully tacky things I've ever seen in someone's house.

Does anyone else remember back in th early 70's when a number of people had those golden ceramic cobras with red jewel eyes...or the black bull with red jewel eyes in their living rooms?

How about Elvis glow-in-the-dark velvet posters?

A giant wooden spoon and fork set, wooden African/pseudo-African  totems or masks, avocado-colored appliances and shag carpet . . .

. . . but not at my house, fortunately.  OTOH, I have lived in apartments that have had furnishings and appliances from the 70s or earlier, and they were better than anything that I owned.

I forgot the giant wooden fork and spoon set.  We had that!

What was it with the 70's and the orange and lime/avocado color scheme?

OH...and who else had the conquistador head with the fake rapiers?

Courtesy of my mother-in-law, I am the proud owner of a conquistador helmet that is really an ICE BUCKET!  I tried to get my son to take it to college with him but no go.
