This is a Craigslist ad - hilarious and absurd:

http://cleveland.craigslist.org/bks/2189197241.html

An author advertising a new book who makes grammatical errors in the description! Or is it done to be misleading?

Seller miniwagster is stretching the bounds of credulity when he says

YOU NO THESE PIECES ARE GREAT.  YOU CAN USE THEM IN JUST ABOUT ANY MINIATURE GAME THERE IS. THEY COME WITH THEY'RE OWN STAT CARDS.  ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ADJUST THEM TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE GAME YOU'RE PLAYING.(D&D,MONSTERPOCALYPSE, STAR WARS,HEROCLIX  & OTHERS).   AND THEY ARE AWESOME TO LOOK AT AS WELL.

WELL.HOPE YOU CAN USE THEM IN WHAT EVER GAME YOU CHOOSE TO USE THEM ON. (HORRORCLIX IS A GREAT GAME ALSO)

Altering the stats of Horrorclix and then using them in a non-Clix game is something that I would like to see.  How about just using the miniature to represent something else?  For example, this miniature can represent one of the Lords of Cthul from Monsterpocalypse:

To me it proves that anyone can get books printed now.
But then I knew that already...

If the design were a bit nicer I'd be right there with you. I could make this one myself, though. Least they could do is steal the font/graphic design of the game :).
