Judging by your avatar, you might be a Star Trek fan.  :)

TheFasaListing page is invaluable.  Last year I sorted through some boxed sets and got the bits their correct boxes, more-or-less.

This illustrates the problem with having a number in the name of an RPG system:

Huge lot of Babylon 5 ( Five ) RPG books!
Excellent - Good Condition!

Includes the following 3 books:

The Babylon Project - Main RPG book (Good)
Earthforce Sourcebook (Good)
The Babylon Project - Gamemaster's Resouce Kit (Excellent)

And the seller (matthewsen) seems to think that a book lot with three, four, or five books is "Huge".

. . . eBay listings

This has nothing to do with RPGs, but I stumbled across it while cruising Ebay and found it quite amusing.

Another exhuberant eBay seller proclaiming that something is rare.  This time around, the Star Wars 2E Revised and Expanded rulebook is Ultra Rare.

This is the ULTRA rare 288 page monster core rule book is even rarer then the blue edition.  Seriously its ULTRA RARE, i didnt find a single copy on ebay at this time.

eBay has at least one active auction and two store BINs for it.  Amazon has at least 31 copies for sale.

Our not-so-honest friend mystic-fairy has the Avon Necronomicon up for auction.  The auction description is as fictional as the Necronomicon itself.

. . .
** expired/removed eBay auction **

This auction is for a copy the original Necronomicon! A must have book for any Call of Cthulhu fan!!

This is the 1980 first Avon Books printing. If your into Call of Cthulhu, this is a really good book to use as an Aid or Reference for your game! This book spawned many great Movies and other books written about the Great Old Ones. It was written by Aleister Crowley and it has a huge Cult following! But beware! This can be a very dangerous book, so handle with care!

Nothing to do with D&D, but I never fail to get a chuckle out of the term "authentic replica".

Instead of a laughable description --

the funniest feedback I have ever seen or received!

(green, positive FB), verbatim quote from My Feedback:

"Very sarcastic buyer that I had to report to Ebay; would deal with again/blocked"

Seller: Member id cindee646 ( Feedback Score Of 3127)  Aug-10-10 22:53  -- (#250671263099)

(Received after I paid promptly and got a nastygram from a seller wound too tight. And y'all know what a Bad Person I am...)

Had to Report me? Interesting that eBay took no action whatsoever...

"WOULD deal with again"... but "Blocked"?

Fine with me, sweetheart; I wouldn't buy from you again if it was 99% off retail.

"CATHEDRAL The Game of the Mediaevall City 1985 3rd Ed."

What did you do, Frank?   Did you correct his spelling?

In response to her screaming I said 'calm down or I'll report you to eBay' -- and so she tried to flip it. Wrong...

But actually the woodie New Zealand version IS spelled that way, and its pieces are a little different from the ubiquitous Mattel plastic version. :)
