Seller practicalpresents claims that this is a FASA Star Trek RPG with a rare typographical error.  I don't have my copy handy to see if it has this same "rare" error.  Can anyone tell me if he is full of crap, or if this really is some rarity?  Google reveals nothing about this typo.

My copy of the 2nd Edition Deluxe Version has this same typo. I wouldn't consider it as rare or valuable. What is rare are the 2nd Editions which say "Deluxe Limited Edition" on the front (his doesn't) that includes Enterprise and Klingon Cruiser deckplans left over from the first edition.

Lots of details on the different editions and variations here at Xon's, but I don't see anything there about this "rare typo" either.

Judging by your avatar, you might be a Star Trek fan.  :)

TheFasaListing page is invaluable.  Last year I sorted through some boxed sets and got the bits their correct boxes, more-or-less.

This illustrates the problem with having a number in the name of an RPG system:

Huge lot of Babylon 5 ( Five ) RPG books!
Excellent - Good Condition!

Includes the following 3 books:

The Babylon Project - Main RPG book (Good)
Earthforce Sourcebook (Good)
The Babylon Project - Gamemaster's Resouce Kit (Excellent)

And the seller (matthewsen) seems to think that a book lot with three, four, or five books is "Huge".

This has nothing to do with RPGs, but I stumbled across it while cruising Ebay and found it quite amusing.

Our not-so-honest friend mystic-fairy has the Avon Necronomicon up for auction.  The auction description is as fictional as the Necronomicon itself.

. . .
** expired/removed eBay auction **

This auction is for a copy the original Necronomicon! A must have book for any Call of Cthulhu fan!!

This is the 1980 first Avon Books printing. If your into Call of Cthulhu, this is a really good book to use as an Aid or Reference for your game! This book spawned many great Movies and other books written about the Great Old Ones. It was written by Aleister Crowley and it has a huge Cult following! But beware! This can be a very dangerous book, so handle with care!

The Aleister Crowley Tarot is an interesting item for some scenario.

Nothing to do with D&D, but I never fail to get a chuckle out of the term "authentic replica".
