Hrm.  Australia... I'm guessing it's one of the Valhalla Games items, which someone mentioned were re-shrinked by the store.

Seller shn_ledbetter has five separate auctions . . . and a single auction that combines the items from the five separate auctions:

. . . http://toys.search.ebay.com/_Toys-Hobbi ... fledbetter

I have e-mailed the seller asking if the five-book auction is for the same books that are in the five separate auctions.

Seller is a new zero-feedback eBayer.

I remember that auction.  Nothing minty about it, but complete and well kept, and thoroughly enjoyed and played.  A real sense of loss from the guy giving it up.  I agree, this has a similar feel.

Seller practicalpresents claims that this is a FASA Star Trek RPG with a rare typographical error.  I don't have my copy handy to see if it has this same "rare" error.  Can anyone tell me if he is full of crap, or if this really is some rarity?  Google reveals nothing about this typo.

My copy of the 2nd Edition Deluxe Version has this same typo. I wouldn't consider it as rare or valuable. What is rare are the 2nd Editions which say "Deluxe Limited Edition" on the front (his doesn't) that includes Enterprise and Klingon Cruiser deckplans left over from the first edition.

Lots of details on the different editions and variations here at Xon's, but I don't see anything there about this "rare typo" either.
