Unusual Miniature set entitled 'ancient life'. What is that on the altar? Don't tell me it is Caligula wielding the dagger? I can't quite make it out from the picture!!!  PDT_Armataz_01_13

The camera used to take the photo was also used in sightings of Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster...

Bah, that's not a book.  It's just a man in a gorilla suit holding a tiny submarine. :D

This is the best image we have to date on these books - taken by the Hubble Telescope you'll notice we can now, for the first time, begin to make out quite a few surface features.

Not related to collecting but related to eBay:

How long has eBay allowed songs to be embedded in auction pages?  The song is not offensive, but if I wanted to hear a song coming out of my PC speakers, I would be playing a CD or MP3.

Two things amuse me about this listing:

1. It is in Toys/Hobbies ---Games --- Role Paying

2. What is wrong with ordinary chocolate topping you buy in the supermarket?

I was lurking this one, hoping to get it for cheap with a snipe.

I almost won a copy of The October of Chaos.

With $5 starting bid and $5 shipping....kind of an increase over the 99 cent copy I won a year or so ago.

This is weird.  The scan for this item is the lid for the Map of Middle-Earth Jigsaw Puzzle.  Note the 2 whited-out areas on the top left and right corners.  They hide the word puzzle.  Nowhere in the add do I see that that this is a jigsaw puzzle being sold.  If it is the puzzle a $50 BIN is certainly high.  Maybe the seller can clear this up for me.  :?:

Seller just cleared this up for me.  It is the poster.  Since he couldn't get a good photo for the poster he used the puzzle box scan since it was identical.

Well, that seller is notorious for that sort of thing. Likewise, for other GW items, like Treasure Cards or White Dwarf inserts, that are actually print-outs or pdfs. Pisses me off.

If that was cheap (ie not $100 but maybe like $10.00) I would buy that.  Believe it or not I have the minis and not the box or contents :?
