Ya'll might recall a year ago Dungeon Magazine had him on the cover.  Reaper miniatures had a sculptor (Bobby Jackson) produced a Warduke mini, and they cast up a dozen, with hopes of convincing Piazo of doing some sort of deal where they could offer them to subscribers or some such.  Piazo wasn't interested, but through my connections at Reaper I managed to get one, and had one of the world's best painters paint him up for me!

never been one into miniatures really, but you do have to admire an amazing piece such as that - very impressive and a true treasure to cherish!

so who did the painting gus?

Are we nearly there yet?

I suppose it's possible that these were promotional items, but the lack of nomenclature is suspicious.  Any insights?

Those are shots from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, from back in the 80's.

Here's a piece I actually like:

I had to dig through the clown money to find a real quarter.

Are you suggesting that Warduke wants to bone a dwarf?  Very dangerous stuff indeed.

Hey, here's an idea...a new gamer fad...Warduke Trivia:

Q: Why does Warduke only wear half-chain?
A: He ate the other half this morning for breakfast.

Q: Why doesn't Warduke ever fight Godzilla?
A: Toho studios asked him not to make their star look bad.

Q: What would happen if Warduke ever lost a fight?
A: You die just for asking that question.

Q: What is Warduke actually duke of?
A: War, stupid.

Q: What happened to Warduke's original duchy?
A: He killed them for asking stupid questions.

Fun Fact:  The total distance in miles between earth and Pluto is exactly how many fools Warduke has on his kill sheet.

Fun Fact:  The Asteroid Belt actually used to be a planet until Warduke discovered it was blocking his view.

Q: Why is the Yukon sparsely populated?
A: They pissed-off Warduke.

Q: Why does Warduke carry a shield?
A: As a handy platter for displaying your head.

Q: Why does Warduke need to wear armor at all?
A: He doesn't, but the manufacturer pays him for endorsements.

Q: Why does Warduke carry a sword?
A: As a prop.  He mostly kills through sheer terror.

Q: Why does Warduke have a horned helmet?
A: He doesn't.  He's wearing Satan's scalp as a hat.

Q: Why doesn't Warduke wear pants?
A: His leg muscles are too strong for ordinary seams.

Q: Why is Warduke an animated character?
A: No photographer has the nerve to actually photograph him.

Q: Why does Warduke only appear on fantasy game products?
A: We need to pretend he doesn't exist or people might die of fear.

Q: Why are Warduke miniatures always sold in single packs?
A: He gets pissed off at other miniatures and slays them in the package.

Q: Why must Warduke miniatures must always be made of pure iron?
A: He doesn't really care, but whimpy metals melt at the idea of holding his shape.

Q: Why isn't Warduke invited to appear on game shows?
A: Dude, after what happened on What's My Line?  No way!

Q: Why were Warduke coloring books discontinued?
A: The first few unfortunate children accidentally colored outside the lines.

Stuff like that.

Am I imagining things or is that a D&D bottle opener there on the left just below the Venger keychain?

The knight on the dragon is pretty good, but I like the green maze with all the goofy critters.
