The thing about that lion's face is....it shows how the words "professional" and "good" might not be the same thing.  Remember back in the days when gaming was not big business?

re: the Paragon Gladiatorial Rules, I have this edition dated November 1977.  No indication as to whether this is first, second, etc. edition, just the date on the first page.

That's great.  Thanks.  I'm guessing from a couple of things that "The Lion" (or Perilous Poozer) is from 1974.  In the beginning (there are no page numbers), it records the following under Equipment Needed:

See Military Modelling' magazine for August 1973.

At the very end under Second Commercial it says:

We expect that our Twentieth Century skirmish Rules will also be out by Jan. '75 in the new format.

From that I would guess '74.

Also included is an extra sheet entitled "Gladitorial Rules--Amendments."

The home address is in Teddington.

It's from 1980, so it shouldn't be too hard.  The font style along the bottom should tell you who produced it.

Fantasy boardgame from Dimension Six.  I had one unpunched but sold it recently to Frank Mentzer.  It had some mildew smell so it went real cheap.
