It does look a lot like that hotel, good call. I stayed there one night when I was 11. I got up the next morning to skip some stones in the lake. The stones and the conditions were perfect and one of my throws skipped 24 times, which was the best total I've ever gotten. It's been all downhill from there...

Is that a couple of the halls/bldgs on the campus of Univeristy of Wisconsin-Milwaukee?

That hotel looks incredibly nice, as well as the other hotel on Lake Louise. Waiting for a groupon to take advantage of either one of those!

Curiously, I thought that the building in the background looked a lot like Frasier Hall at KU, but the rest of the buildings don't fit in there.

Perhaps the site of the first NTX con??

that would be funny if we've been guessing these super exclusive hotels and properties from around the world, and it turns out it's something like the view from the pool looking at the back of the Quality Inn or Extended Stay or wherever the first convention took place :D

Nailed it! It is an awesome place to stay, by the way. Mr. F wins the prize (watch you mail).

So there you have it, a massive and luxurious resort and nefarious slavers...

Nice!

Disney is considered in some circles the "evil empire", so the moral of the story is: don't underestimate the Slavers ... they will 'resort' to anything :)

Sheesh, don't tell the missus.
