Okay, I wanna play the Stump the Forum game! My guess is that it's "Mystic Runes" & "The Heart of Evil." What do I win?

I'm going for the other part of the challenge, which is to find out if anyone else has a copy.

I'm guessing Mars has one or both.  :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

No, he has a pdf copy....wait a minute!  I think I am confusing this with another thread.  Sorry about that.

Ah... if only they'd gone for a catchy title like "The Heart of Vecna", instead... ;)

Since those items were locally produced (Seattle area), I'm curious to see how far other copies might have traveled.

Glad to see they found a good home with Martin. My buddy Steve (the former owner) confessed at one point he was thinking about just tossing them into the recycle bin. Gasp!

Hence only $50 BIN each? Didn't last long at that... :)

I'd imagine Jack would have a bit of a problem with WotC trying to protect that particular piece of property...

They didn't lose their head over the hand, so maybe they might've had a heart? *jk*

There's a "Vecna Robotics." I wonder if their robots have heads, eyes, or hands?

Thanks for the reminder on that one, David!  (BTW, I'm putting a package together for you to mail soon).

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

Love that artwork!

I have no clue what that is, though.

I think it is Escape From the Minotaur's Lair. It also may be The Bane of Bryreville both by International Dungeon Designs Ltd.

That didn't take long, I was hoping the gargoyle would be misdirection - it is Escape from the Minotaur's Lair.  Well done :)

It has a real old-school look to it, despite being from the late 80s (according to a quick BGG lookup). Sort of like Tabletop Warriors. Usually I don't pay much attention to items past 1982, but how many more 70s-ish gems are out there, published over the next decades? Maybe that's worthy of a thread unto itself.

I had the same immediate guess, based on the size, cover stock color visible at the edge (looks more like Bryreville actually), and some knowledge of Dave's collection.   :D

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games
