Here's one more, and I have to run.  Will check in later tonight or tomorrow with more 'zines...

*g*. That latest one isn't the Underworld Oracle (#7 = Sep/Nov 1978) that I'm missing, is it? :)

Fairly sure of that: well, comparatively speaking... ^^

faro - no Demonsblood (yet).  BTW, sorry about the variable scan quality, I'm still figuring out how to get them looking good.

Anyway, try this (title blanked out, as usual):

Good morning, Marinagh!

Well, at least TBH is easy :D
(Sorry, Al, for stealing your thunder... ^^ )

Suffering from amnesia here on the other one, unless they never made it to Edinburgh (unknown later issue of IV or TS *g*). At least one other zine aside from WD used that ol' Arnold Bocklin font occasionally :)

aside: on Trollcrusher, I finally found Bryan Ansell's one-and-only contrib./letter to TWH mentioning that he thought that was a good idea and that he'd go away and found an APA himself (well, UKish sort of APA ;)) and thus Trollcrusher was born.

Oh, and in the context of this thread a definite "lose", as well, since I suspect at least half-a-dozen people have copies of that issue ;)
(Hrmm... or should that be a "win", since people have actually read and enjoyed the 'zine?! Image)

OK, my turn, again (and hoping the one or two people I suspect should have a copy aren't around just now :?)

Aww... you spoiled my fun, there. I need a quicker scanner, too! :D

OK; what about my latest one, then? Or that mystery item on the previous page that's foxed me, too?

Well, at least TBH is easy

Still feeling my way on what's hard to find, so it looks like I pitched an easy one there.  That cover has some sentimental value, being a drawing of one of my PC's done by my old high school friend Quentin Manley.  He and I were sometime contributors to various UK 'zines back in the 70's.

If you look again at the as-yet-unidentified 'zine cover showing a warrior spearing a wasp that I posted earlier, you'll notice that Quentin drew that one too.

Thanks for the link to your archives Brett - that'll help me figure out what else I have that's not so well known.  More postings later.

Faro - I've seen that cover before but darned if I can't place it just now.  Will rack the old brains over breakfast.

Including reprints, the more popular issues of TBH are quite likely to be in the region of 1,000 copies; of which a large percentage will still be around.

That one's starting to vex me somewhat :)

This might help;

*g* I was still playing by the original rules:
"The object here is to present an item that you think nobody else on the forum has a copy of"

...Chancing my arm on the 'zines, too! :)

Nah, not DL. Totally the opposite end of the spectrum ^^

OK; casting the net wider, does anyone have this one? No fancy cover art, but quite a fun item (with regard to TPKs, anyhow :P).

Same source as well, I presume: was too easy (and too recent), that! ;)

OK, I'll keep being lazy and just pick pretty much the next item off the stack.
Sorry, Brette, that means back to 'zines... ;)

(Anyone aside from possibly Paul, Frank and Burnie Bros. with these?)

Regular D&D columns, monsters, reviews, character sheets (late 75/early 76), etc.

The issue above has the Axebeak as one of the monsters, but that is not credited to other than EGG in the MM and ref. sources elsewhere, so I'm obviously missing something (also too lazy to double-check the SRs and TWHs ^^).
