I'd expect so; but if someone wants them they're welcome to pay, I'm sure. :)
I could tell you what the approx. mark-up is, but I won't.

If anyone's interested, it's probably worth asking to check whether the spine conditions on "Streets of Gems" and "Gems for Death" are "near mint". (Not likely to be anything like as bad as Goodman Games' split-a-hundred-ways-when-pressured cardstock, tho').

Looking at these covers....I think the Companions module I have in storage is Curse on Hareth...but I don't remember a full-color cover.  Is that good?

I'd be very interested to find out whether or not there was a mono Curse on Hareth?

FWIW, I've seen two BotB's go for over $300, and I know of one private sale in that range too.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

The last one on eBay went for less than that maybe 38 GBP or close to that. I had kept the outbid notice for reference but finally deleted it a week ago or so. Does anyone else remember this one? It may have been that it slipped notice. I am more hoping that reason has taken hold. I would like to pick up a copy but can't justify that $300 or anything close to that for it.

As an aside anyone know how to make the Pound symbol. I hate not being able to properly designate the monetary symbol.

Was that not the one before?

The latest copy (I think) had one bidder over £40; and the winner didn't mind paying more since he'd re-coup the price after scanning it.

Was the time before I guess. I had not seen the auction you linked to. Even with the higher price than I saw $124 is much more resonable than $300.

($347 at the current exchange rate)

I had another check through to try to find the previous one: no luck, sorry :(

No M is right. I picked up my first at £72 about a month ago, and my second at £38 a week after. Both UK sellers. The two before that went over $300 (both US sellers), and there was a reported private sale a little over $300 also.

I'm sure there will be more along in the future. Does anyone know if Mr. Wheeler has an online presence?

If you're running Windows, try using Character Map (under Accessories/System Tools on Win 2K).

I can't remember what I paid for it (Brotherhood of the Bolt, that is), but I know it was nowhere near £72 ($125) or even £38 ($65). I'm sure it was less than $50 (about £29). It was by far the hardest of the Companions modules to find. I was just about to let the whole set (except for Curse on Hareth) go for $65, but the buyer never followed through. :?

Hold down Alt, and press 1,5,6 on the number pad.  Then let go of Alt.   "Num lock" must be on for this to work.

If you guys would just switch to the dollar, we wouldn't have this issue.

I'm sure we'll all switch over once we've been accepted into the US.

The thing is...in order to qualify as American citizens we will require everyone in England to buy a gun.
