I laughed... hard.

I was interested up to about $25-30, and I really love Pendragon.  It's always nice to lose by a mile.  :)

The gold star editions are nice, but yes, $300 to $450 is a way more realistic price. :)  Or possibly less, considering he lost the special brown paper wrapper.

That is high, but it is also unpunched (for the tiles). Maybe the figured are still on sprues, too. A pretty difficult box set to find, one I shamelessly still need myself.

At that price, I will shamelessly never get a copy.

That is nuts. A few months back I picked up a Talisman set and three of the expansion sets for about $100. I played it with the kids, but did not enjoy it. It is like playing D&D in a straightjacket with a partial lobotomy.

The swordsman book has always been rare and expensive.  That's probably a bit high for the book now but I have seen then sell for $150 in the past.  $100 might be a more reasonable price now.

There are a few rare 7th Sea books that use to be great sellers - Pirate Nations when it became out of print would hit $100, Montaigne would get up to $75-$80, etc.
