While D&D, it's not TSR.

A victim of major 'oops' syndrome, a lot of 3E books, with a BIN of a cool million. Get 'em while they're cheap!

I don't think this is an oops. I think it is a way to get people to notice this auction.

It's one of those iSoldIt franchises, too. That's all I need to know to run away screaming and raising my holy symbol, regardless of items or price.

Those should all be worth about $20ea. TOPS! so MAYBE $150-200 for the lot.

Retarded.

I sold a couple of these the other month for $25 each and they went quick so I would suggest $30-$35 each max.  $100+ each is pretty crazy.

That seller is actually Bill Webb or Clark Peterson...the Necromancer himself.  8O

I'm confused... I thought it was just a typo (well, two typos), then there's a reference in the auction text to $1200 copies on Amazon  8O

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

The seller is taking his price off of Amazon's high end price.  It happens.

Well I've started tracking the necromancer judges guild items for the valuation board and this is the first Wilderlands set I've seen this week. There are a couple of Amazon sets up for the $1200 prices, but to me this is pure madness.

EDIT: What is more interesting is the Necromancer 8 pack from amberdexterity was taken down today with no bids, ending it about 2 days early and no relisted lot going up.

When I see companies or owners of companies reselling their own items (or trying to) at ridiculous prices, it makes me wonder how the companies themselves are run.

For example, this guy obviously has no clue about the selling price of these sets so it makes me wonder if he actual ever kept track of the hobby or not.  Since it is such a dumbass price, it makes me wonder what other dumbass comments/decisions he has made such as dealing with RJK or even that Dreadmire guy.

Much to my chagrin as one of the cancelled bidders!

As much as I respect their work, that price is pure lunacy.

Damn! I didn't realize there were bidders on this. No reason given for cancelling out on the auction?

If they figure these are going for that price why not try and reprint them? (Or is there some reason they can't be reprinted?) But I vaguely remember the last one going for $90 or so. Months ago though.
