I think it is definitely a silly price.  esp, considering what that nice set of Unspeakable Oaths went for (quite cheap I felt).  I do like his ebay name though.  :)

Just crazy. Can't be any other explaination.

No way...Judges Guild products are super rare!  Rare, I say! Rare!

  *grumbles*

Seems like they got cheap right after I finished collecting them.  If not for Killjoy I might have paid a whole lot more.

However, Inferno seems like the one most likely to become super rare and totally worth collecting.  You can snag mine right now for only $100 if you act fast.

I'm considering that Inferno a payback of good karma  from all the times I've had stuff go for way under what other sellers get for the same item.   :D

In case no one has noticed, when I get the hots for something, I'm willing to pay (haha).

But I have no regrets on a good bid for Inferno. I've had a tough time finding one at all.

i have another inferno lying around here somewhere...or two :)

its a great mod and one of the best collectible JG items outside the obvious ones. a quality condition copy normally gets a good price and it normally has a lot of bidders too!

Even though the auction has not ended yet I will post this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8778368043

It is rare but from all the reviews I have read such as on afterglow and in a couple of fanzines, the Infinity Limited stuff is appearantly one of the worst products out there.

I'm not bidding on any auctions with jimship involved. Judging by the new account, the way the bidding goes on items he bids on, and the fact that the only non-magazine items he bids on are barents, I'm beginning to suspect shilling.

well them dungeoneers are exceptionally rare, but dunno if they are that much rare somehow....

and i guess it would figure if he sees someone lobbing in bids that its possible that it could be a shill ....

we should get BC on the case :)

I dunno that its shilling... Barents has had quite a few rounds of auctions in the last few weeks, and I don't recall seeing anything untoward in previous lots.

Plus if it was shilling, why would jumship have the three highest bids on the Dungeoneers? He seems determined to win.... which is the opposite of what a shiller would normally want to happen.

Regards

Mike

Just checking jimship1's bidding history, he has bid on a number of Barents' auctiuons, but he's ended up winning a good number... plus he has bids in on a large number of Imagine mag auctions from seller penryandsalinger - in some cases winning single issues for 16 quid, clearly way more than they're worth.

I think it's just a case of a new user who likes to win, and perhaps hasn't done much research on what items usually go for - I know in my early ebay days I overpaid on a number of things before I knew better. Of course, I still overpay on occasion but its more of an informed overpaying rather than inexperience.
