Damn, I have to agree, some did not do any research into that before bidding.

I guess they thought it was a rare Gamelords item not knowing it was from the boxed set.  The winning bidder is going to be pretty disappointed I imagine...

Unboxed Morcar is not even worth $100. There's no way he didn't know the price. He bid several times.

I will bet either the bid gets cancelled, or the seller doesn't get paid.  Somebody here is jerking someone elses chain.....

Law Dogs is actually one of the more rare Deadlands books, it will sometimes go for around $50 or more by itself, so I imagine that's what the appeal of the lot is.

Any other Deadlands books have value?  Just wondering because I have 30 or 40 of them (Including Law Dogs) and I am considering selling them.  I would like to know which ones not to let go cheap 8)

Thanks

I sold off a bunch of Deadlands stuff recently and most don't fetch very much.  They usually go in the $5 to $10 range, though Texas Rangers went for $20.  Unfortunately I didn't have Law Dogs, I'm assuming a low print run on that one or is it the content?

It's been my experience that the Deadlands stuff often prices well when sold in "lots" therefore making it hard fore me to have obtained much of for personal use/research/resell purposes.

For Example:

http://tinyurl.com/fjkst

They're very cool books, and I would love to run a "poker" themed deadlands game for the group of friends we play cards with to try to introduce them into RPG's gently.  I only know about Law Dogs in particular since I had a copy of it sell quite nicely earlier this year.

What I HAVE noticed is that the d20 deadlands stuff, and the subgenre stuff (Hell on Earth, railwars etc) do not fetch the prices that the original game stuff does.

Sorry I can't be of more help.  =)

In France, the WFRPG campaign 'Enemy Within' is well known and has got a very good reputation, but sometimes prices get very high.

Power behind the throne WFRPG

and...

Empire in Flames WFRPG

More expensive  8O  In the last 1/2 hour, the price went from 21 to 81 Euros (100 USD).

That was a fierce battle between those 2 guys.

The Flames of War usually goes for a decent price.  I don't think it was reprinted by Hogshead like the other parts.  And they are a pretty darn good scenario too!
