That orange covered Unspeakable Oath is a second printing of the first issue.
The first printing was a limited run of 100 copies with a grey cover.

Someone with more patience than I needs to contact this seller to explain exactly why Monte Cook's MERP boxed set went for $275.

Every once in a while I get deluded into thinking I'm in the game and have a shot at winning. I sit there, waiting and timing to put in my manual snipes and just get blindsided when my snipes don't even register. At least it saved me cash because there was no way I was going to outbid these.

Once again we also see that products that are not necessarily very good can command high prices. And that Lance has very deep pockets

I do agree - they are definitely rare. I think I am still in shock at what they ended up going for. Maybe I'm hadn't completely recovered from your Bigglestone auctions either when I got hit with these ones

It also makes me wonder what kind of price I could sell Wintersfarne and Wordesley for? Maybe its time for a purge.

Those items are really, really rare. Yes, they're not particularly usable for gaming but I can't remember the last time they came up for auction. Nice bunch of wins for Lance and good to see non-TSR D&D items doing well.

If rarity is the only criteria to estimate a value for a module, Ian has ones of the most rare modules written for AD&D, french modules, "le dernier cercle". You will see them no more than once per 4-5 years on sale on ebay, even on french forum... They was released in mid 80's, only in some RPG shops in Paris and few other cities, and I think no more than 50-60 copies were sold. NEF (Nouvelles Editions Fantastiques) are french modules even rarest than that (only 10 copies of them could have survived from mid 80' I guess), these are AD&D, and Runequest modules (in the modules, mentions to TSR and Runequest have been used without any legal authorization).
But french AD&D modules are not very popular, don't know why...

Those french modules should be very popular, in fact, there is some interesting artwork inside, such as nude & good-loking adventuress...

Do the French TSR D&D modules have different interior artwork from the US/UK releases? That should make them more valuable if that's the case.

These are not TSR modules, these are FRPG adventures designed for all RPG with special mentions to AD&D TSR and Runequest, Thieves World etc.

French TSR modules are pretty similar to US/UK modules, but for example it exists 4 differents print (with more or less differences in them) of basic boxed set (Acaeum has only 3 prints in the database, but it exists a 4th print, released in 1987, with minor differences like one have a rigid box, the 4th pr. box is non-rigid, there is a spelling mistake in the 3rd pr. on the side of the box, it is stated "touts droits rÃ©servÃ©s" instead of the 4th pr. where is stated "tous droits rÃ©servÃ©s", and so on.
B2 in the 1st and 2nd pr. have differences too.

This booklet is a part of the Thieves Guild boxed set, only one booklet of a boxed set which sold for no more than $15 (I got mine for only $4.99 2-3 months ago) and the final price is $56!!! And winner is not a newbie at all...

I guess they thought it was a rare Gamelords item not knowing it was from the boxed set. The winning bidder is going to be pretty disappointed I imagine...
