Then the whole industry shat itself and went running and hiding under rocks lest they get associated with the big bad Zak and get cancelled by all the young wokers?

No, he's a legit piece of shit.

"Young wokers"? Yeesh, dude.

Wow, that enquiry is old.

What was the story? It all happenned like 5-6 years ago when I wasnt't around.

There seems to have been zero evidence other than a he-said-she-said argument between two porn stars, and the only reason any of us know about it is because the guy was a pretty successful writer/artist in the OSR space.

But this was happenning at the height of the 'D&D writers are racist/mysoginist' social crusade, so the overreaction by the industry in response to the woke hysteria was to be expected in retrospect. However, other than all the hand wringing hysteria among the snowflake generations, we see no evidence that the racism/sexism ever actually existed, the accussers offer endless accusations but never present any evidence that anything they are saying is the truth, and seem only to be dissatisfied with the way they 'feel'.

Whilst maybe none of us would like to think our kids may watch porn stars playing D&D on YouTube, or have to explain to them what porn stars are and why they've discovered that certain OSR products are written or illustrated by them, I'd suggest that maybe the flaw in the moral construct of the liberal side of our cultures is that there was no objection to 'was actually a porn star', which should at least equal any objection to 'was accused of doing something by a porn star'.

As I understand it, based on what's online, she accused him of rape on social media after a tumultuous breakup. She never reported anything at the time and never made any report to the police, never offered any evidence. She seems to have just decided to voice her opinion to try to get him cancelled, and in the light of the climate of the day, she succeeded. Sounds very much like the Brett Kavanaugh thing.

Both characters seem to have has the questionable moral compasses of porn stars. The willingness to be honest that one would expect, and other than generally wondering what actually is the truth behind what happened (as opposed to peoples preferred truth to suit their chosen sensitivited), there really is a question to be asked about how and why anyone could or should be cancelled based purely on the prickly feelings of a generation of overly sensitive children who just don't seem to be able to grow up and mature, and want the world around them to be infantilised to suite their feelings.

There has been a lot of bad parently, not least in leading otherwise intelligent boys and girls into porn acting.

Thankfully though the world has moved on, and those pursuing their woke agendas have (whether they care to acknowledge it or not) much more pressing concerns to address in the world.

That's the extra-obscure black & gold edition, which is worth a half-dozen Wilmark Dynasty modules.

Which is still a better exchange rate in today's market than the exchange rate for fairy gold-to-Brooklyn Bridge deeds. Think of how your heirs will thank you for investing wisely now!

Reading the Description of this made me somewhat intrigued

If it was $100 I'd be contemplating buying it, however at $3000 I'll let it sit there until someone scans their whole copy or sells it for cheaper.

Oh Trove, how I miss ye for the scans...

These things always come along eventually. The PDF exists because it was printed. It’s only a matter of time before it becomes available online. Might take a year, but it’ll turn up sooner or later. It’s rare that something manages to evade the online archives. Either that or the author will get greedy and look to squeeze more money out of his product and release the PDF for sale. Then it’ll be available at a reasonable price anyhow. I’d pay $40 for a PDF copy if it were available, and I’m sure hundreds of others would be willing to also. That’s $40K, and all the author needs to do is stiff all his hardcopy buyers.

My tag line used to be "There's always another one", which is basically a universal truth.
