TollHouseGolem wrote in Silliest non-TSR auction price:Sometimes I just don't understand the mindset of some sellers. Case in point: this seller couldn't sell his RP Great Red Dragon the first time around (I was the highest bidder in an auction that didn't meet the reserve), so he turns around and lists it for $400? I guess he thinks the paint job (pedestrian at best) somehow adds value to the product. Seriously? Also, I hate it when people miss obvious details. The plaque and paperwork clearly state "5000" copies and the seller lists it as "3000" - probably a simple mistake, but it just bugs me. Good luck with that!

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I doubt 5000 of these were made, Ral Partha had a habit of limiting there big models for marketing purposes and then just producing a modest amount for inventory.  $400 for this is a stretch, the painting is not great.  You can pick these up in the box for $100 or less if your patient.  They did produce a version of this dragon in pewter and it was limited to 300 copies, it came prebuilt and was sold at Gencon many years ago.  Finding the pewter version in box is nigh impossible  :|

A rather ambitious starting bid, even if it is NIS:

Ambitious is a kind word for it.

WTF? You can buy this off Amazon for $26.50. You can buy this on eBay for $25.99 with free shipping. Boggled.

Might be high, but the winning bidder did get four of them at once.  They seem to be going up in value too.

Only in the US, for now, due to perceived rarity?
Fwiw, copies of Imagine and Tortured Souls both went through a bit of an upwards blip at various times in the past (for US-available sales) but have fallen back since.

I thought the one above belonged here... (and it does) then I noticed the one below... same seller.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

$65 for a single Judges Guild Map.
This map is part of Installment K but was sold seperately.

Based on the picture provided I am Fairly certain that this one is the players copy, if so the sheet is 8-1/2" x 11"
This map is probably the most common Judges Guild map there is.
If you want a copy, I think BadMike can hook you up with a few dozen copies at a nice discount from the price above.

The copies of Modron NK are selling for $95 and I am selling for $5 do have the player's map, which mine don't have. However, the Player's Map is pretty much an incomplete copy of the Judges map, so unless you are looking for a collectible copy or just a completist, that is a lot of money to spend for one extra map.  As for the Huberic of Haghill maps at $60, I have a stack of these, if you are interested please don't spend this much I can set you up much cheaper.

64£ for a photocopy??? The seller sold several ones before, for no more than 25£ and relisted this one more than once. And now, 64£...
Perhaps some chillling. But even...

I thought it had been relisted several times before getting a bid..
