I must have dyslexia or something.  Only sold for a bit over $1100.

If you want to see ridiculous prices, check out some of the 70's Star Wars figures.  Most of the higher priced items have nothing to do with the figure itself but the differences on the back of the display cards.

So not nearly as ridiculous as you previously thought?  I'm sure there are some action figure collectors out there wondering why some people would pay several thousands of dollars for a stupid role-playing game in an ugly woodgrain box.

And to think, I sold my complete collection of pre-1985 Star Wars figures and vehicles back in 1990 or so for about $300, not to mention all of the fan club extras weapons, backpacks, etc. Ah well, such is life.

I remember when they cancelled the fan club. The letter was something like, no one cares anymore, why do you?

I worked for a wholesaler that bought up remainder stock. We got in a few pallets of Power of the Force, Marvel Secret Wars and some DC action figures. With my discount they were .40c each. I should have bought the pallets as they came in, but who knew.

Looks like the halfling adventurer from RP 98-006 Dungeon Party. Can't blame a guy for trying, can you? LOL.

Let me know if this sells. I still have one. Unpainted, so it must be worth more.

I wonder what this person would say about size when he sees 6mm, or 2mm minis.

Then again, maybe that isn't too much to pay for a unique item.

I am currently selling a lot of Ral Partha Minis on ebay in which the tiny halfling is included... the Tiny Halfling was one that stood out to me... it is 1/2 as big as the normal sized minis (which seems appropriate)... It was definately the coolest in my mind.

I didn't have this version of Thieves World; I got lucky and it went too cheaply:

And then there is this one with the crummy photo and no real description going way too high:

Yes, it is an earlier version (no award winner logo on the cover), but still, that's weird.

And no clue if it is a 1st or a 2nd ed (since some 2nd ed lack the logo). Silly!

Wow.  Nice price.

And, that's a crazy price for the other one!

I paid $19.95 for this set a little while ago and some said I overpaid for it!

I disagree.  I think a reasonable price for this set is $15-30, so you're right in there.  It is a desirable item, but Chaosium printed a lot of them for a long time, so they aren't hard to find.

And to think I let a freaking case of those all in Shrink Wrap go for pennies on the dollar a couple of years ago. :(
