"High" is probably a good explanation.   :)

I'm not 100% sure on this, since I'm not an expert on early editions of CoC, but isn't this a tad high? Or am I just uninformed?

Seems a bit high to me. It has the Gaslight and Now supplements as well as the Nyarlathotep box set which is really nice. I would not have expected it to go that high. The seller had the Nyarlathotep box set listed with their T&T auction which made it a lot more interesting to me. I ask and they were quick to let me know that was an error on their part.

Ok, here's a Gurps SJG can't reprint, but it's STILL overpriced by close to $100:

It can picked up hard copy for a lot less and I would (have) gone that route. I will not talk about the PDF version too much as a hardcopy to me is always superior...and let the PDF ve. hardcopy debate start again...please not.

Here's another one:

Sellers like this should really make a decent attempt to be more informed about the item they are selling.  "Printed as an underground competitor to D&D this awesome game system is almost impossible to find anymore!!"  Uhh...not only does it show up on Ebay quite often (and in much better condition that this one) but you can also buy the entire 9 book package  from Emperor's Choice and for less than this absurd BIN .

The price on the Atlas is tempting. Doesn't it normally sell for more?

Mixed set; 1st print volume 2 Arduin is fairly rare ( http://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewt ... ht=#313999 for the differences): I haven't seen any other copies recently.
As to condition and BIN price, however... :?

Blackmoor - if you have any Elfquest miniatures it is DEFINITELY time to get in touch with the second place bidder.    :D

Depends on the condition.  The silly part I was referring to was the starting price and the BIN.  They usually go for about $50 but I have seen them go for as cheap as $30.  Here is an auction that not only has the Atlas but also the Tarsus box set and some supplements that went for $53:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GDW-Traveller-Tarsu ... dZViewItem

As for the Arduin auction.  The BIN price obviously isnt a reflection of the condition of the books.   8O

Ebay removed it for some reason.  Why the hell would it jump from the $30-something price to $980?  Looks like a couple of idiots bid on it just to piss the seller off.

Kinda like the freakos who bid $100 on bottled farts or slices of toast that are possessed by their dead relatives.

The seller had two other miniatures auctions that also went for $980.  IIRC, one bidder won two of the auctions and another bidder won the third auction.
