In the sports memorabilia world, game-used or game-worn items typically command premium prices. Perhaps that's what this seller has in mind? "All sheets have been actually used in real game play."

Heh.

My kobold could kill all of them without blinking an eye.

Dune Hardback (Last Unicorn)... first time I've ever seen it go over 200 $US.

At GenCon we usually sell 'em for $100-125... and you can get the author's autograph there (Owen Seyler works for GC F/T).

'course if you wanna get even sillier... T&T has it for 289. Even more clueless: someone in Indy wants 500.

Must be the spice.

You did extremely well.  The last 3 or 4 before that one were in the $80-$100 or so range.

I think I paid $45ish a few months ago for a shrinked copy.

Looks like he has sold a couple of these recently at the $84.99 price point.  Why the jump to $169.99 all of a sudden?  :?

If you can get two people to buy a copy at X, maybe you can get one person to buy a copy at 2X?

But in a sick and twisted way, a true compliment to the Burntwire Brothers by T&T!!!   PDT_Armataz_01_37

I am interested to see if their copies will sell or not... 6 available for the moment.

If they sell, that means that the Insidious could already be a collector :) And indeed, true compliment for them!

[EDIT] at the same time, they are listing this

less than $6...

I know MERP/Rolemaster fetches high prices but this seems pretty optimistic to me.

Why aren't sellers investing just a bit more effort into their Ebay sales pitch?

Look up the other two current Insidious listings...

Why no copy about this infamous product that bearded the WOTC lion and launched the Old School Renaissance into an Old School Revolution.  Banned and excommunicated by THE MAN, Die Cast Games gave the bird to the establishment and published this now heavily sought-after thunderclap of a module.

Why only things like "new"  "uplayed?"

If the people looking at the listing don't already know what the module is, they ain't gonna pay my price anyway..;)

Plus, I don't truly believe any of the things you've mentioned are actually the case. I'm selling mine because I'm not all that impressed with it as an adventure and won't be using it, and it's clearly highly desirable at the moment. I wouldn't count on the hype creating any lasting collectible value. But some people will have to have one.
