Actually, DWP printed up T-shirts to support the Valus product for GenCon 2004, and I'm sure Tadashi has some left (it has some gorgeous mapwork on the back of the shirt, with DWP on the front IIRC).

Anyway, I pinged Tadashi and he's definitely around and still in business and is working on .pdfs and reprints of DWP materials (DW, TG, CT, etc.).  So, if you don't hear back from him after an initial order, re-ping him, and feel free to name drop me since he said "I will be sure to send a response if they include a line that says "Allan Grohe sent me."

well I've ust been reading through this thread (finally) and I'm intrigued and liking the sound of Thieves Guild stuff.

Is it readily available normally on ebay or here for sale? Without splashing out a load of cash for starters, I'm interested in having a look at this to see if I should start picking these up...

Any advice on a starter flavour piece please?  :)

Cheers
Dave

Actuallly, tadashi at diffworlds.com did just get back to me and I placed a small order. Some of the items are still available there, but unfortunately the core sets (1st ed looseleaf and 2nd ed box) are not available any more. You can get them on ebay of course, but the prices are creeping up.

As a starter I would pick one of the remaining TG Adventure Booklets.
Whichever one seems the most interesting to you since each one offers something very different than any of the others.

Several of them are priced to move at $5.95 (BRAND NEW from the developer) plus shipping.
That aint much at all for what you get.
Some are more expensive from $6.50 to $7.95, but they too (IMO) are cheap at that price.

And you can find copies on E-Bay, but they seem to be (very often) priced higher than from the original source.

The Box Set will run higher than when first available as many folks want copies and they dont seem to come up often enough to satisfy the market.

Warning: Once you join the guild you can never go back. 8)

My personal favorite is Thieves Guild #3, The Duke's Grand Ball.

Worth it for Secrets alone.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

New from Tadashi would be $34, so that's the benchmark, I guess.

I can confirm from my own prior research that there appear to be no "unknown" Gamelords publications.

Anything that is not in the known canon of Gamelords products is vaporware....98.9% chance.

No, these were never released.  Not sure if a draft of them was even ever written.  Most companies plotted out a number of future items but never got around to creating the material.

The store would have added the sticker.  Most likely some came with 1 and others came with 2 order blanks.  They were probably printed at a different time than the item then placed in the ziplocks by hand.
