Wow, that was a time-saver (and a sanity-saver) - Thanks Mars!

Close to complete - just missing the stickers (and bags).  Otherwise, all is good, and I can sleep easy knowing my TG is orderly  :D

And, almost as cool, I learned a new word - the TG pages were 'interleaved'

Hello again, still working my way through this Gamelords stuff... and this isn't really a TG question, and I hope the group will entertain it...

What I have in a binder, (not red, no sticker, just a binder ) is three-hole punched Free City of Haven (c 1981)... There is a cardboard front cover , 11 cut-apart cardboard map segments (think I'm short a few), loose pages in Sections H, N, T, C, O, S, L, and appendix A.  Also, a large colour fold-out map.

I'm wondering: is this close to being complete?  and, does the colour map belong with the rest of this?

Also, the supplements I have are:

- Haven Secrets of the Labyrinth
- City of the Sacred Flame
- Within the Tyrants Demesne
- Lair of the Freebooters
- Basic Character Creation.

I think I'm missing Intrigue on the North Bank....

Is there a Haven-resource that I can use to figure out what else I may need?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts   :D

Thanks, Shane, I think that's exactly what I need  :D

I've come into a bit of Gamelords stuff and trying to make heads & tails...

If only there was a spreadsheet out there, somewhere

Seriously, I sort of gather these are $5-10 books, and I'm enjoying reading through them - the dot-matrix layout takes me waaay back - I guess the 'collector' in me is looking to make sense of what I've found vs. their publish catalogue - so, yes I'd enjoy knowing how complete these items are and then how complete the 'run' I have is...

Best,
david

I'm looking at:  Within the Tyrant's Demesne (1983) - the back cover says:

"Coming soon!!  Haven Volume III, The final book of the Haven trilogy!  Plots and counter plots.... the most complete cityscape ever published."

Never printed, huh... too bad.   :?

Also 'coming soon' per the same issue was "Thieves Guild presents: Magic"... did that one make it?

Nope.
One of the writers for Gamelords died around that time..I used to know more back when I was collecting and reading this stuff.  His son has popped up on a couple of forums before after googling his father's name and setting somethings straight.

If you're missing anything, davidc, you can ping Tadashi for whatever he may have, on the http://www.diffworlds.com/ site.

Welcome davidc!  Glad you are here.

Nostalgia is good, but beware nostalgia creep.  It infects most of us around here including me.  First we just want x, y & z and then it's a, b & c and so on and so on.  Seriously, this a great crowd.  Enjoy!

As someone smart said, not long ago...

As there's only so much 1E, yes, the eye starts to wander...

Midkemia Press is another set you might be interested in.  They spawned off Raymond Feist that has 20+(?) best selling novels.

Probably a dumb question this far into an old thread...

But are the Thieves Guild (and Haven, and the adventures) (A)(O)D&D compatible, or are they a separate system?  I seem to find equally vagues notes wherever I look.

TG has its own rpg system. You can convert it relatively easily and the genre is completely compatable. But TG has its own character generation, combat system, etc...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!
