I agree.  "Prince of Thieves" surfaces every 4-8 months or so, usually in clumps of 2-3 within a few weeks, and is gone again for awhile.  They were usually selling in the $30-ish range, sometimes more.

I just came across an unused zip-locked copy of Thieves' Guild V For $5. I had a coupla questions.

The Zip-lock is in decent shape but is still worn and "frosty" from years of shelf-wear. It is also pretty loose and doing little to keep the item protected. the contents however are unused and look to be dead mint. I would like to put the mint condition binder-book into a nice snug acid-free mylar sleeve and then put that into the zip-lock bag. Will this lower the value of the item, or is it inadvisable in any way? Especially if I plan to sell it at Mint/New.

Also, I see Badmike is selling one for $24 on the Bay... is this a good BIN price? Noble Knight has one listed as new for $10.

Not sure what to do...

Cheers,
David

I don't think number V is a very difficult one to get.  Diff Worlds has number V for sale at $6.50 although it is the booklet rather than the binder version.  I would probably value it around $10.  As long as you are keeping the ziplock bag, I don't think you are going to devalue it.

My price is probably way too high.  I need to re-evaluate that one.  Thieves Guild items, while very cool, aren't really that hard to find it turns out.

I notice TG items fluctuate wildly, particularly the original TG loose leaf.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Hello,

I scanned through this topic and didn't see the answer, so apologies in advance if I missed it elsewhere...

I picked up a binder with what appear to be TG 1, 3, 4, and 5 all compiled together...

Do we know which page numbers go with which product?

(I'd love to be able to figure out how complete they are... and maybe even un-compile   :D

Thanks in advance,
david

I've packed mine away and not sure if I'll have time till the weekend to try and find out where all this stuff is.
I am curious though what kind of binder it came in, and if there is a sticker on the front.

Oh no, not a Gamelords or other game-specific binder    - just a regular no-name 3-ring loose-leaf style binder... it kept the pages nice, but it's just  I'm not sure where each supplement starts and ends, or even if they're complete...  Thanks!

I sold my complete set about 10 years ago on ebay in a fit of stupidity. I had the first printing which I bought at Michicon or Wintercon back in the day...

I need to get that stuff back...damn it...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I can probably take a look for you.  Although I don't believe that the pages for each pack are sequential.

Is it red? does it have "Quill Corporation 14V14." on the pocket?

Now I feel bad... no, it's just a Mead three-ring job that's you'd pick up at the local office-world... not game-related.  Sorry   :(

I found what appears to be an index page... must belong to # 5, because it shows the chapters # - page # for the start of sections from TG1-TG5... so I'll be making piles tonight and sorting through it... though there aren't end page numbers, probably a careful read will tell me if I'm complete.

Thanks for the replies, Gentlemen -  please don't go to any trouble - I'll look more closely & post again if I get confused   :D

You may have some pages with stickers on them, which is what they provided in #4 to make everything conformed when putting in a binder, so not sure if the #5 index page conforms to the new page numbering or the old.  I'm going to try and look soon to see if I can find my stuff.
