Anybody care speculate on the fair market value for VG copies of:
Advanced Wizard
Advanced Melee
In the Labyrinth
Do these items come up for auction often on Ebay?

It's been my experience that these have been trending downward for some time now. There were some "glory days" I remember from about 2-3 years ago where the whole Metagaming TFT line sold like crazy: $50 per book, over $100 for the set, etc. Every auction had lots of bids and most ended with a sniping frenzy ... ah, the good ol' days. :lol:

Disclaimer: I don't track TFT with nearly the regularity that I do certain D&D items. Maybe those books are back to getting solid prices. YMMV.

Completed eBay sales, FWIW:

The last two copies of Advanced Melee: $23, $28;

The last three copies of Advanced Wizard: $22, $28, $20;

The last three copies of In The Labyrinth: $25, $30, $31.

The "good old days" were definitely better. Like everything else, though, these items might experience an upswing in the future ...

I picked up a a few Metagaming titles while I was in NJ last, including one that was unpunched.  I'll have to dig around to see which game it was.

Thanks for the data points.

I used to own a complete set of these items. They were purged along with most (but not all) of my ad&d and traveller items in the late 80's by my rents while I was away @ college.

Sigh.
