Everybody have a good day and learn from my mistakes, never toss old miniatures!!

Agreeing with Blackmoor. If you keep old miniatures, you can actually repaint them and teach new tricks to old dogs  :)
Hell, where did you find a wife like this? Mine (when I had it) wasn't like THAT!

(and btw, the minis absolutely rock!!!)

Put's away my paint collection forever :(.

Last time I spilled a bottle of glue, it became my favorite mini.  Green Slime :).

Oh, re-reading my post I have noticed that I used "it" to describe my ex-wife!!!!!

Much too funny - and Freud would have a few things to tell me about this.

(I bought a large set of paints recently instead - heh)

I recently won this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

I think the first time I saw this was in the back of an old Dragon magazine.  I don't collect miniatures but have always thought this was such a neat set so when I found it I just had to have it.

What I would like to know from those who do collect is, can anyone tell me if I just got lucky to get it at this price or did the person that won this auction just pay too much?

I would like to find other minis of the same type.  Perhaps a throne room, torture room, etc.  Can anyone let me know a good web resource for Ral Partha minis?  I have done some googling but havent found anything good yet.

If anyone's interested, I can pass along the details of the folks doing this; they've got a Yahoo group or two IIRC....

Details please...  :D

Sorry William, didn't mean to ignore your request, just slipped my mind for awhile.  I'll provide details this weekend!

OK, basically, in short, there are two guys who have bought up the rights to many old Heritage and Minifigs collections, and they both have web sites at:

Classic Miniatures
and
Minifigs.com

Michael Thomas owns the rights to several Heritage lines including John Carter, LOTR, Star Trek, Conan, Heritage FantaScenes, etc., while Tom Dye owns the Minifigs rights, including not only Minifigs but also many classic Heritage Dungeon Dwellers.

Michael also runs a Yahoo Group for Heritage fans, called Disciples of Heritage, at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disciples ... d=76457098
and created a Heritage LOTR group recently as well, at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/heritagelotr/

Sorry for the long delay in response, but, you know, life's been busy ;)
