That guy is an experienced seller. He had this up at first and ended the listing for some reason. I was watching it and it was getting $57.00. When the listing was ended, it reverted back to its starting price for some reason. Anyways, this pit fiend was relisted and it got $87.00 the other day. Hope that helps anyone who experienced a skipped heartbeat when they saw a .99 pit fiend. I know mine did. Cheers.

I think this has happened with some of his other auctions also. I remember seeing the same thing with some of his dragonlance figs I was watching.

The missing wingtip spine can easily be made from greenstuff.

That's only $2.06 per head!

Been a while since anyone posted on here but just wanted to let people know I will be listing a little over 200 blisters and almost all the box sets ever made by Ral Partha over the course of this weekend.  Almost everything will be starting at $0.99 instead of those crazy starting prices you see nowadays.  Bid often and more importantly bid high (well not like on drugs high).

A MOC Molydeus (11-652) just sold for $228.28 today. As a point of reference, I sold one for $150 a little over a year ago, and that was an assembled, unprimed, unpainted model. Moly still seems to be the rarest of the rare in the 11-series, no?

impressive.

he beats all the rare mithril miniatures price wise, too -- and they are advertised as collector's items from the start. which begs the question -- what do you do with such a mini (for such a price, that is)? do you open the blister or do you stash it away as a mid- to long-term investment?

if you assemble and paint it ... and mediocre paint job will ruin it (i have seen so many mithril figures with sloppy paintjobs that it pains me).

Pretty crazy price, I am glad I got mine well before they were considered "Collectable"

Nice pick up C, you shouldn't have any trouble getting that staff straight.

I have a MOC Molydeus I can let go for $160 if anyone is interested.

Thats because he did not mention 'Raistlin' in the offer. I once won 5 of them for 10 Euros that way. Stated as '5 human figures'. ;)
BTW Raist would not like to be called a 'wandering monk'.

I am still looking for Storm Silverhand, and Tasselhoff. Those are as rare as he Molydeus (which I have).

one of the reasons why i browse offers that do not have specific titles/descriptions.

actually, there was a riverwind miniature as well, but to collect them individually without the box wasn't too enticing -- he went for 1 euro.

a loose remorhaz is up on ebay right now -- no affiliation with the seller whatsoever:

I usually browse Ral Partha. with just Miniatures' I get too many offers that aren't what i want.

My Rhemorhaz looks down at me from the bookshelf, painted and all. :)

I really mostly look for the 11 series minis, and I already have a lot. The ones I don't have are mostly never offered, or just at prices I won't pay. Like Storm silverhand for 160 $.
