Among them are Barbazu, Kobolds, Lords of Ravenloft, Snow Troll, Kender Rogues and more...

I have old Ral Partha miniatures sitting around...the original D&D miniatures...some painted and some not.

Are they worth anything?

Some are, some are not.  Like anything it depends on what you have!

The named figures, dragons, some demons, larger figures generally have some value.  Run of the mill characters and monsters are less valuble.

I just have one more non-Wyrms RP AD&D blister pack for a complete set including the boxes.   :D

Then again, I've never seen one for auction... but this was also the first Alustriel I'd seen so perhaps more will come out of the woodwork.

Frank, your auctions are a huge success.  8)

I think that's a new record on the Remorhaz, and even though it's one of my favorite set of figs... 8O  8O  8O

I believe these RP AD&D minis are only going to increase in value.

First, they're great quality scupts.  Second, they're metal, which beats that wimpy plastic stuff any day. Third, it's going to get harder and harder to get them in sealed blister packs as more get lost and opened over the years.  Fourth, there is a great diversity of figures for many settings.

It's one of my all-time favorite monsters - I had a great time helping research its history for to the intro chapter to the third Masters and Minions book (PDF here). Is Ral Partha's the only remorhaz mini in existence? I've heard there might have been a Grenadier, or one from Reaper with a different name.

To my knowledge, Grenadier never did a Remorhaz... or at least not one called such.  Maybe they did one that looked like a Remorhaz but they called it something different to avoid IP problems.

I could have sworn I saw a Remorhaz mini somewhere that was not from Ral Partha. Slightly smaller and less detailed. But I could be wrong. Of course it wouldn't have to be called Remorhaz. Polar Worm or Ice worm perhaps?

Let me see, they are licensed, high quality, hard to find, low print runs, getting older, they come in a series.

I totally believe we have only seen the begining of there ramp up in value.
