I just uploaded a few Ral Partha miniatures in their blister packs. I'm not to familiar with them so I just put them up for bid at $9.99 a pop. Hopefully some will be worth something. Some of the heavy ones are: Minotaurs of the Imperial League / Greater Yugoloth / Efreet and Jann / A'Kin / Bugbears / Chimera / Firbolg / Rust Monster / Armanites / Ormyrr / Fire Giant / Owl Bear / Phase Spider / Black Abishai / Storm Giant.

You'll be suprised on what you get for them.  8)  Along with those listed you have some popular humanoids.

That's good to hear. Cool thing is that these were throw-ins for the real stuff I purchased.  :D  I also have a big box of loose figures that are gonna be hell trying to identify (with my knowledge).

Well you probably got about $500+ worth of throw-ins. I might even bid on those drow elves. With all the chaos that's been going on in Menzoberranzan lately, you can never have too many.

Well you were right Ekim Toor, bids are starting to pick up on my miniatures. I see how some can be surprisingly good! Black Abishai, Armanites, seem to have good bidding so far.

The Abishai are always popular.  8) I've seen them sell for as high as $75 in the past.

You're sitting on a gold mind my friend!

Well, make sure to drop me a line if you end up bidding and winning any of the miniatures. I'll be happy to cut a small percentage off of your winnings.

The highest price I've seen the Kobolds go for.

Yeah, they were fun auctions to watch skyrocket in the last minute of bidding. Just a few tips that I learned: I should have spaced out the auctions since there were so many snipers, second, lots of questions from people pertaining to the Ralidium/Lead content.

But overall good bidding, altogether they sold for $685. So you made a pretty good estimate on their worth. If the buyer does not pay for the Drow elves, I'll be more than happy to sale them to you for the price of shipping plus one dollar.

Next mission, hundreds of opened, unlabeled, miniatures that are gonna turn my hair grey trying to identify and list. lol. :? Maybe I'll just throw up a huge lot for them all and save me some sanity.

I'm sure that was Misticmuse.

Which blister turned out to be the high seller?

I try and space the auctions at least 1 or 2 minutes apart,  that way it gives time for the snipes to shoot & move. If you want upload a photo/s of what you have left and we can try and help you identify them.  8)

The Kobolds, Black Abishai, and Gnolls I think were all in the 30-50 dollar range.

I will take you up on that offer about identifying the miniatures. I even have a set of roughly seven miniatures that were in a black carrying case with a dragon and some other figures that the seller said "were sent to be professionally painted". Not sure who did it or if that decreases the value of them. They are well painted though.

Is it possible/against rules in this forum to add a link to something like a Photobucket picture site?

Not RP but mini related - I originally looked at this cos of the high shipping (!)

What struck me though was the number of pictures on this auction - will this strategy achieve a higher sale price do you think!

** expired eBay auction **

edit - blimey 2 of them

** expired eBay auction **

Edit - actually I thinks there's 5 or 6!!

Hi guys,

A local store (or at least within an hours drive) is having a going out of business sale so their minis are currently 50% off.  I went there hoping for books but ended up walking away with a bunch of minis.  I don't collect minis so I will probably end up reselling these.  Did I pick up any good ones?

$4.00 11-108 Great White Stag (ravenloft)
$5.50 11-468 Taers
$6.00 11-478 Kenku
$4.40 11-536 Wind Dukes
$2.20 11-603 Factol Darius

Screaming deal.  Most of those blisters will get you $15.00 TO $20.00

What are the minis for DragonStrike?

Are they similar / the same as for the game?

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.
