I don't see it in the archive capture of Brette's zine info.

If Jon Noble also contributed to Alarums & Excursions, I bet contemporaneous A&E issues will mention it. I haven't bought the A&E pdfs yet though, so can't check for you.

Jon Noble also used "Stoat" in the title of his Trollcrusher contributions:
I Have No Stoat And I Must Breed
The Stoat that Shouted “Breed” at the Heart of the APA
“Breed, Stoat” Said the Ticktock Man 3
Doctor Who & The Stoats of Doom
etc.

Where can you buy A&E PDFs?
Any idea if they go all the bay back to Issue 1 or is it just 'selected articles' that they could release without people contesting IP?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Email Lee Gold. She has complete PDFs back to issue #1 and she can also provide the issues of APA-L that discussed D&D. Her contact info is here: https://conchord.org/xeno/aande.html

Thanks Bill!

I didn't have much hope for the B's after Tuukka exited.... Our D really showed its weaknesses.  Thinking I'd like to see a Dallas/Islanders series :)

I wonder if they have all their pullouts?
If so, that's an amazing price.

The seller didn't do their best job of selling the items describing their condition as simply "used". If they are so lazy as regards that, how well do I think they will pack them for a journey across the pond? Besides that I already have the full set. But if there were any issues, I'd have to ship them back across the pond, just not worth my time.

I seem to remember a full set selling for close to $200 a few years back.
I don't recall how much I sold mine for, but I seem to remember it being high for the time it went.
A lot of the UK stuff is under appreciated I think because they are obscure.
Having online sellers then kicking the ar*e out of their BINs on eBay doesn't help. It just makes sure stuff like TS! and GameMaster Pubs' stuff go unread and undiscovered by most people.

That all said, I'm seeing OSR stuff that exceeds the quality of the stuff that was available back in the day. I wonder how most of that stuff will be accommodated by this side of the hobby given the abundance of PDFs for everything that comes out, and so many different print on demand suppliers of differing quality.

My current opinion is that the original printings offered by the author/publisher in their initial offering/kickstarter will be sought after (as they tend to be of higher quality) and the POD products fall in with the rest of the dross on eBay. Maybe an exception may be made for Arden Vul on account of its initial price point. I wonder if anyone will ever play in that.

I picked up the tortured souls lot and it should be complete except for the Zoot game in #6....so it looks like I'm in the market for that :D .  Also chatted with the guy about packing so not too worried, he said they have been sitting in a cupboard since he bought them in the mid 80’s. Time will tell on condition but I'm optimistic
