Homebrew, Printed on a Mac in the late 80's / early 90's, bound at Kinko's or similar local copy shop. It doesn't even have any content, other than a blank character sheet and a copied piece of graph & hex paper.

If this were 1970's, that would be more interesting, because you'd need professional equipment to do something like this. By 1988, when I was in high school, my friends and I were doing this stuff at home all the time.

At this point, I'd concede no but if it turns out he printed and sold 1000 copies and had them advertised in Dragon magazine then I may reconsider.

The white FASA version is missing a good chunk of material from the original printing. Approx. 74pp. These are quite common.
The red Image Game Company version is approx. 108pp. excl. covers (It came with a double cover. A card cover with an identical paper cover over the top of it to protect it on the shelf/in the post etc.) A mint copy with both covers intact is a nice find.
I'm sure the white FASA version is out there in PDF in the wild somewhere, but I can't lay my hands on it right now. If anyone has seen it (the PDF that is) PM me.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
