But with that 98.2% feedback I wonder what's wrong...

They only have 1 negative, can't please everyone  :)

I buy from worse feedback ratings.

SA is imho the best of the old school fantasy mags to read and enjoy. Not rules-focused like Dragon, fan written like Dungeon, gossipy like Different Worlds and others, it’s really an excellent periodical with outstanding contemporary fiction.

If you’re looking for enjoyable reading material assuming this auction doesn’t go through the roof, I’d highly recommend picking them up.

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

More interesting than reasonably priced, but these shrinkwrapped bundles tend to be new knowledge areas for most of us.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

sauromatian wrote in Interesting Non-TSR Items Currently on eBay:These bullette/rust-monster sets are not hard to find, but this one looks unusually complete (though with a few others from various sources included). Does anyone have a list of what was in the original set?

Pardon on the long wait for an answer. If you haven't found a resourse yet. This has quite a bit

Fantasy Toy Soldiers: UNKNOWN: Chinasaurs

There is/was a better one out there that had picture examples of all of the sets but I'm having trouble finding it right now.

Hey thanks! The photos of the normal looking figures that accompany the odd ones are useful, since I have probably gotten those mixed up with other old toys. Plus there is this bit of info in the comments: "The Chinese Communist Party says they are real dinosaurs. So, it must be true."

More from that site: "I think this is meant to be an actual pterodactyl rather than a made up monster, but I included it because the wings look like they have feathers and it has either feathers or fur on its back which makes it at least a little imaginary."

Or ahead of its time, paleontologically speaking.

It, and many of the toy figures in those early sets, are knock-offs of Japanese Kaiju from movies and TV shows.

The "pterodactyl" is a knock off of the original Rodan (called Radon in Japan), of movie fame.

Some of those are knock-offs of Godzilla/Gojira or similar Kaiju from Ultraman.

The "bulette" is stolen straight out of an Ultraman episode -- the original Gabora, before the protective shields around his head open up.

Some of them might be from other Kaiju knock-off movies.

Yes, done by Kenzer (not by RJK).

Those magazines have more wave in them than a British Monarch!
And the seller describes as being in excellent condition. Where, on Waterworld?
