I have never seen this boxed set...

This is for the RPG spin-off of Fighting Fantasy (a solo adventure, game book series). I believe the RPG system was called Advanced Fighting Fantasy. On a relevant note to TSR and D&D, Fighting Fantasy was created by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson - founders of Games Workshop and importers/distributors of D&D in the UK.

Calthonwey doesn't tend to bring what it used to. I don't know why. The typo in the auction title isn't going to help this copy.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

They're pretty good, but not stellar designs. I liked TotBS better than DotDW, but you can read some reviews @ Tower of the Black Sorcorers | tenfootpole.org and Dungeons of the Dread Wyrm | tenfootpole.org
