The later lots ended up in this range but there were about 6 or so sales before the last few lots that sold in the $30-$40 range.  Also one or two individual sales of the book (by the same seller) for a BIN of below $30.  In total the seller must have had about a dozen copies of this. - with that many copies, its rarity drops a bit (at least on the small press scale).

Actually the lots were in the $250-$375 range- not that big of a markup :)

Doing a quick look over the seller's feedback, it is probably closer to 20 copies of this fanzine sold.  Here's a couple samples of the earlier auctions that are still available in Ebay for viewing:

Oh wow- I stand corrected- I bought mine last year and paid over $300 for 2 different lots from this guy- I guess the markup is only good for the lucky dudes that got these :(

I also bought this a week ago (after humming and ha-ing a bit) ... kind of cool Chainmail-type rules. It does have basic rules for individual character combat but not for individual development  at all. From 1976, though there is an earlier print (I think).

I've been wanting to get one too, just for that beautiful cover art. Read a little bit about it that made it sound like an interesting read too - so bonus. Nice pick up red_bus!

BTW - yes, it's the 2nd Edition (first for Heritage) There are two versions (or printings?) of the first edition by Leicester Micromodels Ltd according to BoardgameGeek.

It is not on ebay but i d like to hear if anybody has read this zine:

Wormskin, an OSR Fanzine | Print and Play Gamer

Apparently it is interesting since it develops each issue a piece of a full setting.
Any comment?

Thanks and ciaoo

I spotted this:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

...and i am curious to understand if the early dcc (those for 3.5 with the "lasso logo") have a market. I have a bunch of them and wonder if they are somehow interesting... Has this auction a correct value?

For a while I thought collecting first print/lasso logo DCC mods would be fun, but didn't stay with it. I haven't been following them, but despite them being uncommon I recall they didn't sell for too much.

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.
