ROFL! I ended up getting a few more messages from the seller after the "?" answer he sent regarding it being an original or NTRPG reprint. His first message; "Hello ,

It's the original. No reprints". Second message; "It probably will not be sold. I'm looking to get something between $ 1,500 - 1,700 .. So it'll probably be back on the shelf next week."
So the listing error appears to be that he didn't put a reserve on the auction and it wasn't going to go for as much as he expected!

The NKG description says it was never republished or reprinted, but wasn't The Expedition into the Black Reservoir printed in two different issues of El Conquistador?

Always liked these guys. Had the Gimli one BitD. Thought he'd make a good giant for 25mm scale.

Would still like to have the full Fellowship, but the problem is, they never made a Merry and Pippin, just a generic 'hobbit'. That is rather disappointing.

True. Seeing 1-4 and 6 in semi-decent condition for sale by the same seller I thought was pretty special though. I think the earliest Issue I've ever seen in person was maybe an 18?
